Social Services Assistant

Duties of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Coordinating and leading the station's Youth Conservation Corps Program Planning and implementing projects for the YCC enrollees Providing technical guidance and direction in all phases of each field project to the YCC enrollees Assigning duties on a rotating basis Independently providing sufficient amount of detail to accomplish projects safely and efficiently Operating a federally-owned or leased vehicle in order to transport enrollees and equipment Only experience and education obtained by03/25/2020 will be accepted. You may qualify at the GS-5 level, if you fulfill one of the following qualification requirements:
I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-4 level in the federal service. Examples of qualifying Specialized Experience include:
group leader in a community or residential recreation or training program, youth summer camp counselor, job skills trainer, work that demonstrated the ability to lead and train members of a job crew, group activities leader in the Armed Services, unit leader for a dormitory group in a residential facility, assistant to associate staff engaged in work of a social services nature such as drug/alcohol addiction, or other work directly related to the duties of the position. NOTE:
Your resume must clearly provide sufficient detail proving your performance of these duties to be found qualified; OR I have successfully completed a full 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree that (a) included at least 24 semester hours in any combination of subjects directly related to the work of the position; (b) included a major in social behavior, human behavior, or health care or (c) was supplemented by experience in activities that afforded the opportunity to acquire and demonstrate the skills required by the position. You must submit a copy of your transcripts to qualify on education.; OR I have a combination of specialized experience as described above and education as described above, that, when prorated, combine to meet the qualification requirements for this position. Experience and education should be computed as percentages of the overall requirements and must equal 100 percent when combined. Only education beyond the second year is creditable to meet this standard. You must submit a copy of your transcripts to qualify on a combination of education and experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
