General Summary:
Responsible for the oversight of Community or Metro-Community Banking-related activities within a specified geographic region, including sales and service leadership, expense and credit control management, community involvement, and meeting financial and compliance standards. Responsible for partnering with all other bank business lines in bringing their products and services to the President's market. This position requires the associate to drive on behalf of the Bank and the associate must adhere to Bank's Motor Vehicle Guidelines. In compliance with the S.A.F.E. Act, registration in the NMLS Registry is required. All associates at Capital City Bank have access to confidential client information, and must practice discretion at all times.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities :
Identifies and defines opportunities for new growth and development. Develops strategic plans to achieve these objectives, in conjunction with corporate goals and plans. Establishes sales goals and strategies. Communicates these to associates in the market and regularly assesses performance against set goals. Coordinates these activities with the Marketing Department. Monitors service policies and standards in order to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty. Sets and utilizes system controls to track assets, deposits and fee income. Measures the size and performance of the loan portfolio, and meets compliance and record keeping standards; assesses the performance and takes appropriate action to ensure all goals and standards are met. Manages community bankers, market leaders and administrative staff, and may maintain a loan portfolio personally. Controls lending policies consistent with those established by the Bank. Creates and owns a Community Board in order to assist in the achievement of Community or Metro-Community Banking goals. All associates must understand and adhere to the non-negotiable Banker Standards and commit to practicing SGNNT at all times. Associates will consistently follow policies and procedures as established by Capital City Bank, with department managers setting the standard.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) Required:
The following KSAs are usually acquired through college education with emphasis in business-related courses and a minimum of five years related experience: 1. Superior credit, analytical, communication and managerial skills. 2. Extensive and proven track record in bank administration, lending and operating procedures. 3. Excellent ability to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. 4. Extensive familiarity with bank products, policies and procedures. 5. High degree of personal integrity and proven leadership. 6. Must adhere to Bank's Motor Vehicle Guidelines. 7. In compliance with the S.A.F.E. Act, registration in the NMLS Registry is required.
Minimum, a Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance or related field from an accredited college or university. Relevant banking experience may substitute for the education requirement.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
